Introducing The Brya: a new landmark development in Dart’s Camana Bay portfolio
08 October 2026
Dart has announced the addition of The Brya to its commercial real estate portfolio, introducing a 10-storey landmark development and Camana Bay’s first standalone mixed-use building.
Located east of Kapok on Bismarckia Way, The Brya represents a defining milestone in the evolution of Camana Bay by seamlessly bringing together residential, commercial, retail and food and beverage offerings within a single structure. With construction underway and scheduled for completion in 2028, the building will introduce 166 rental residences alongside nearly 25,000 square feet of office space and over 17,000 square feet dedicated to curated retail and dining opportunities on the ground floor.
Beyond its physical footprint, The Brya will deliver strategic commercial and lifestyle advantages grounded in connectivity. Situated steps from key Town Centre amenities, occupants will enjoy immediate, walkable access to an array of dining, retail, wellness and entertainment offerings.
“The Brya is designed to complement the unique character of Camana Bay while offering a deeply enriched daily experience,” said Jennifer Ebanks, executive manager – commercial leasing at Dart. “Inspired by the surrounding landscape, the architecture pairs contemporary design with warm, timeless interiors. We’re creating an enduring sense of place where community, work and leisure naturally connect.”
For commercial operators, The Brya offers direct exposure to an established daily population of over 4,500 residents, professionals and visitors to Camana Bay, creating a built-in customer base that extends beyond traditional working hours. Simultaneously, office tenants gain a light-filled workspace, with select suites overlooking the North Sound. The building also offers direct access to the Esterley Tibbetts Highway and the Seven Mile Beach corridor and is just minutes from Owen Roberts International Airport.
“From an engineering and operational standpoint, The Brya sets a rigorous modern benchmark for sustainable building performance,” said Gary Gibbs, executive vice president, development at Dart. “The building is being built to achieve both LEED and Fitwel certification standards, which guarantee optimal energy efficiency and healthy indoor environments from day one.”
By prioritising environmental stewardship, occupant wellbeing and thoughtful architecture, the landmark building exemplifies Dart’s commitment to enduring, human-centric design.
The building draws its name from Brya ebenus, the scientific name for the West Indian Ebony, also known as Jamaican Rain Tree, which grows throughout Camana Bay. Celebrated for its brilliant yellow blooms, the tree serves as a sanctuary for the native Cayman Parrot, supplying food, shelter and an elevated vantage point a natural reflection of mixed-use living.
The Brya is poised to offer an extraordinary setting for businesses and residents to flourish on one of the Cayman Islands’ most sought-after commercial and lifestyle destinations.
